Mayfly: Our Annual Fundraising Event

Join us for Mayfly, an evening to remember!

This year's Mayfly event will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2019, 5:30-9 pm, on the
beautiful grounds of the Leslie Science & Nature Center - 1831 Traver Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.

Mayfly welcomes members of our community, like you, to come together supporting our mission of educating and inspiring children and adults to discover, understand, and respect their natural environment. Last year, thanks in large part to funds raised at Mayfly, we served over 60,000 people through our on-site and off-site programs and reached students and families in Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee, Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, Ingham, Jackson, and Livingston counties in Southeastern Michigan.

Join us for this upscale evening on the LSNC grounds to savor delicious food, drinks, and the wonderful evening air in our beautiful outdoor setting. Hear personal stories reflecting the impact of our work, and enjoy an opportunity to connect with like-minded community members.

Did you know? In 2016, Mayfly was piloted as a Zero Waste event with the help of Recycle Ann ArborAngel Food Catering, and Leslie Science & Nature Center staff. The event was a Zero Waste success with 97% of the event waste being diverted from the landfill. Only 1.8 lbs of trash was created for the entire event! We take the commitment of Zero Waste practices, resource management, and landfill diversion seriously, which is why MayFly will again be Zero Waste this year.
