Girl Scout Program - Night Owl

What is the world like at night? Come to Gallup Park as we investigate what thrives in this natural space at night. Scouts will get the chance to meet a nocturnal animal up close, practice hiking at night, and understand how plants and animals have adapted to a nocturnal lifestyle.

Nature Storytime - Wiggly Worms

Nature Storytime has many opportunities for you and your little one to explore and appreciate the outdoors, such as live animal visits, hikes, stories, and hands-on activities. This week we will meet our wiggle worm friends and we learn about compost. Nature Storytime takes place Wednesday mornings for one hour. Each session includes indoor and outdoor activities – so make sure to dress for the weather!

Day Off at the Museum - Marvelous Magnets

What are magnets and how do they work? We'll with magnets and magnetism and learn about the forces behind them. Then we'll use these incredible tools to experiment create exciting devices. Every Day Off at the Museum camp includes opportunities to play silly games, make art, and have hands-on experiences with science.

Parents' Night Out: Night at the Museum

Ages: Youth currently enrolled in grades K-5
$35 per child ($30 per child for members)
It's a night out for grown-ups while the kids enjoy an exciting evening at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. Every Night at the Museum we'll do exciting activities that will explore different science concepts plus we'll spend plenty of time exploring the museum! 
 
Parents’ Night Out includes a Panera sandwich box with PB&J or Turkey as well as a late-night popcorn snack. Families are welcome to send their child with a dinner from home. 
 
This event will take place at Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, 220 E. Ann St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

Spring Break Camp: Bees, Buds, and Berries

Spring is coming and with it the beautiful world of flowers and pollinators. Come spend a week at Buhr Park exploring how plants, insects, and other pollinators interact to create vibrant colors, delicious fruit, and so much more. We'll take walks through wet meadows, explore the food forest, and get our hands messy as we dig in to uncover what plants need to grow and survive. 
 
There is an optional aftercare session (Camp Cool Down) offered from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.

In this one day camp, we'll head outside to explore animal habitats and compare them to our own. Practice finding and creating habitats as we learn about what every animal needs to survive! Every Day Off Outdoors camp includes opportunities to play silly games, make art, spend time outside, and meet some of LSNC’s resident animals up close.
 
This camp will take place at Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
