Animal Haunts - Northern Neighbors
Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Ages: Kids 12 and under and their families
$10 per person, or $35 per family

Join us for a beloved autumnal celebration at LSNC's non-scary Animal Haunts! Take a guided hike through Black Pond Woods, where costumed interpreters bring plants and animals from northern Michigan to life by sharing natural history facts and stories. We'll have festive fun with harvest crafts,a hay jump, live animals, and more. Don't forget to come in costume!
**This is a candy-free, non-scary event for kids age 12 and under and their families. Please be advised that our trails are not stroller or wheelchair accessible.**

This event is sold out!  Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any walk-up registrations at the event.

Nature Storytime - Awesome Amphibians
Wednesday, October 25, 2017 - 10:00am to 11:00am
Ages: 1-5 years old with a caregiver
$5 per child ($4 for members), free for adults and children under 1 year old

Nature Storytime has many opportunities for you and your little one to explore and appreciate the outdoors, such as live animal visits, hikes, stories, and hands-on activities. This week we will explore what makes amphibians unique. Nature Storytime takes place Wednesday mornings and every other Sunday for one hour. Each session includes indoor and outdoor activities – so make sure to dress for the weather!

Have a 4-5 year old that is ready to try a drop-off program? Take a look at our Nature Tykes Preschool Program that also runs on Wednesday mornings.

Parents' Night Out - Pop, Fizz, BANG!
Saturday, October 28, 2017 - 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Ages: Youth currently enrolled in K-6th grades
$30 per child ($25 per member)

It's a night out for grown-ups while the kids enjoy an exciting evening at LSNC. Practice the scientific method, sing silly songs, and make stuff explode during a fun-filled night. Bring your own lab coat or borrow one of ours. Parents’ Night Out includes a Panera sandwich box with PB&J or Turkey as well as a late-night popcorn snack. Families are welcome to send their child with a dinner from home. Activities will be outside as much as possible, so please come dressed for the weather!

Registration is required by 12PM on October 25th in order to receive a Panera box dinner as we must place our order 3 days in advance. If you register after the cut-off date, your child will need to come with a dinner from home. Register for this event online, or call 734-997-1553.

Families are welcome to send their child with a dinner from home. Activities will be outside as much as possible, so please come dressed for the weather!
