  • Birding 101: What better way to explore the outdoors than to pick up the hobby of birdwatching! • Tree ID: There are living giants among us, and boy do they have a story to tell! Learn how to identify common, Michigan trees in every season. We'll hike through the woods as we practice our new, tree ID skills. All while learning why trees are so important for our ecosystems, as well as our human way of life.

  • States of Matter: Matter is all around us! Come explore the three states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas) we see in nature every day and discover how animals use each to survive in the wild. Then, join us in making slime to see if we can identify which state of matter our slime is most like.
