Eco-Travel

Here at Leslie Science & Nature Center, we are all about the exploration of our local ecosystems and our own backyards, but there are also wonderful experiences possible when you go to exotic locations far from home. These two amazing expeditions will help you and your family experience more of what our beautiful planet has to offer.

These trips are made possible through Journeys International, a locally owned and operated travel agency that has been in Ann Arbor for over 40 years.  Their mission to "design extraordinary, goal-driven adventures that foster discovery, spark human connection, and help people see the world and themselves through new eyes" perfectly aligns with our mission to "create moments of discovery that inspire curiosity, exploration and respect for STEM and the natural world". These Eco-Travel programs let you explore outside of Ann Arbor while getting the same focus on STEM and the natural world through exploration and hands-on experiences. Partnering with Journeys International will ensure that these trips are at the same level of quality and thoughtful planning that you have come to expect from LSNC and AAHOM.
