MacKenzie Maxwell

A native to Michigan, MacKenzie loves spending time outdoors. As an undergrad, she studied at MSU and found herself up north for a summer on Grand Island discovering how interpretation can help connect folks to nature. She’s always found joy in connecting people to what they find interesting, and inspiring people to get involved. MacKenzie is a Certified Interpretive Guide and is working with the Michigan Alliance for Environmental Education’s pilot cohort to become a MI Certified Environmental Educator. MacKenzie enjoys backpacking, biking, cooking, and learning new things.
