Katie Zbrozek

As a child, Katie went on family vacations across the country to camp, hike, and explore the outdoors. Though her memories of those times are primarily of mosquito bites, she ended up embracing the natural world on her own. From running through the woods in cross country, to studying in the Program in the Environment at University of Michigan, working as a camp counselor in Alaska, a naturalist in Minnesota, a farmer in Chelsea, and now here, she has found that life just doesn't seem full enough without the outdoors as a main component. Katie’s goals are to encourage better education and stewardship of our natural world, and in her free time she loves to be in the woods, go dancing, or have potlucks with friends.
