Scout Programs
Come to the Leslie Science and Nature Center for an exciting and informative program that will enable your scout group to complete most if not all of the badge requirements. We will explore the outdoor environment and the natural science through indoor and outdoor games, projects, visits to our live animals, and interpretive hikes. Your troop may choose a two-hour or an overnight program.

The cost for our two-hour scout programs is $8.00/scout with a minimum of $80.00 for Ann Arbor residents and $9.50/scout with a minimum of $95.00 for scout groups outside of Ann Arbor. Chaperones are free. Times are available after school, evenings or weekends.
The cost for our overnight scout programs is $22.00/scout with a minimum of $220.00 for Ann Arbor residents and $26.00/scout with a minimum of $260.00 for scout groups outside of Ann Arbor. Chaperones are free. There is a limit of 18 scouts. The cost includes a leader, all activities, snacks and a bagel breakfast. Your group will sleep on the carpeted floor in the Nature House or you are welcome to bring tents and sleep outside. All overnights are from 7:00 pm on Friday or Saturday night and go until 10:00 am the next morning.

"Hands down the best experience that we have had! One of the girls said as she was leaving, 'I just don't know if I have enough memory to remember all of this to tell my mom.'" ~ Jennifer Deakin, Girl Scout Leader.
"Eco-explorer was the perfect badge to do at Leslie Science Center. It nicely complemented the Ann Arbor Public School 3rd grade science curriculum. It was a wonderful trip."
~ Chris Levleit, Girl Scout Leader.
