Nature Tykes – 4 and 5 year olds                                      
This half-day camp is a great way to introduce your child to the wonders of nature.

World Explorers- completed K-1st grade
Spend your days exploring and discovering the forest, pond and prairie.

Special Themed Week
Diggin Dinos-
Calling all young paleontologists! Join us for a week of searching for fossils, digging for bones, and visiting our dinosaur friends at the Museum of Natural History.

Nature Quest- completed 2nd-3rd grade
In addition to days of fun in the sun at LSNC, Nature Quest campers will head off site for one all day adventure.
Special Themed Weeks
Captain Planet-
Do you want to take pollution down to zero? Are you secretly wishing you had super powers to help save the environment? If so, this is the camp for you! Each day explore how you can become a planeteer!
Nature & Arts-
Natural objects, recycled materials and the world of nature come together this week to inspire your child to paint, sculpt and collage their world. Through discovery hikes, games, and our backyard kiln, campers will use what they find to create beautiful works of art to leave on site and take home.

Pathfinders- completed 4th and 5th grade
All 4th and 5th grade camps are filled with a diversity of nature adventures including  a canoe trip on the Huron River.
Special Themed Weeks
Mythbusters-
It's a tough job separating truth from legend. But this week campers can join the LSNC Myth Busters Crew to use scientific knowledge, inquisitive minds, and trial and error to explore the ins and outs of explosive candy, egg shells strength, and a variety of other myths.
Into the Wild-
Could you live off the land? This week campers will work together to build their own village including shelters and tables. They’ll gather food, cook on a fire and challenge their survival skills as we travel Into the Wild!

Pathfinder Overnight Adventure-. completed 4th and 5th grade
In addition to the usual pathfinders fun, campers during these two sessions will enjoy an overnight on Thursday, filled with a cookout, campfire, night hike and sleeping in tents right here at LSNC. (tents and sleeping bags can be provided)

Outbound Adventures- completed 6th-7th grade
Enjoy days of orienteering, a city wide scavenger hunt, kayaking, frisbee golf and outdoor survival, all leading up to an overnight camping trip and high ropes course off site.

Adventure Leadership- completed 8th-12th grade
Develop your outdoor skills and leadership abilities this summer. Together we’ll plan a two night camping adventure with amazing activities that you help organize. Come join the fun! In the past, participants have organized kayaking trips, a horseback riding adventure and a trip to the rock climbing gym.

                                                                                         
Extended Day Camp - An extended day camp program will be offered from 3:00-5:30 pm for the weeks of July 19-23, July 26-30, Aug 2-6 and Aug. 16-20 to accommodate working parents. These extended hours include art, games, snacks and free time. The additional cost will be $75 per child per week.
