Raptors

All of the magnificent raptors used in our programs have come through the River Raisin Raptor Center. Suffering permanent injuries and unable to survive in the wild, these non-releasable wild birds have been trained to help their wild relatives by educating people about the issues facing raptors today. Throughout the winter on Saturdays, 3-5pm, there will be staff available at the raptor enclosures to answer any of your questions.
