Raptor Programs
All of the magnificent raptors used in our
programs have come through the River Raisin Raptor Center.
Having suffered permanent injuries, and unable to survive in the
wild, these non-releasable wild birds have been trained to help
their wild relatives by educating people about the issues facing
raptors today. Invite the Leslie Science and Nature Center
and their hawks, falcons, owls, and eagles into your classroom,
home, faith, or other community groups to captivate your
imagination, engage your senses, and educate and entertain your
minds. |
