Our Place: Field Trips!

Take a field trip to the place where learning comes alive!

Kids who spend time outside in natural areas are healthier, think more clearly and have better concentration in school. With 50 acres of fields, woods, pond, and prairie, amazing birds of prey, dozens of animals and more, it's no wonder the Leslie Science & Nature Center is a cherished destination for schools throughout the region.

We'll provide your students with an unforgettable educational experience. Our staff members are dedicated to crafting inquiry-based programs that are intentionally designed to complement and enrich the Grade Level Content Expectations and emphasize math, science, and/or social studies.

We're also an outstanding destination for home school groups and educational cooperatives, and a great place to bring individual learners. If you are interested in a home school program, please call 734-997-1553 or use our request form and we will respond within three business days.

If you're unable to visit us (or want to complement a visit), we can also bring many of our programs to your place, as outreach programs!
