Ages: All ages
$9/person or $34/family non-member; $8/person or $30/family for LSNC members.

Do you find winter too cold to go bird watching?  You can bring the birds closer! Chickadees, nuthatches, juncos, and purple finches are just a few species we will focus on as we learn ways to encourage a these birds - and many more - to visit your yard. Setting up a feeding station is just one of the possibilities!  Learn what seed to offer, the type of feeder to hang, and a variety of suet recipes you can make. We'll also delve into behaviors to watch for and bird sounds to listen for.  You'll attend an informative presentation, visit our bird feeding station, then have the option to go on a birding hike. Bird feeders are a wonderful seasonal gift choice, so we'll also be ready to help you choose the right ones for your bird-watching friends and family!
