Leslie Science and Nature Center Position Openings:

Program Coordinator I – spring season/summer camp
Program Coordinator II - weekend and evening

The Leslie Science and Nature Center (LSNC) is a private non-profit environmental education organization. We primarily provide educational programming for children and families.

LSNC is hiring program coordinator staff who have experience working with children, have knowledge about local flora and fauna, and are passionate about the natural environment.

Program Coordinator I: Responsible for teaching/planning programs, including field trips, scout programs (two hour and overnight), birthday parties, school outreach programs, public programs, all day camps, and possible raptor care and handling responsibilities. The Program Coordinator I will work close to 40 hours a week in the summer months, with reduced hours in the spring. The position may be extended after the summer season.

Program Coordinator II: Responsible for weekend and evening programs (primarily birthday parties, scout programs (two hour and overnight), public programs, and possible raptor care and handling responsibilities. The position may be extended after the summer season.


Program Coordinator pay rate: $9.75 an hour.
