Completed 6-7th Grade

For campers who have completed 6-7th grades prior to the start of camp.

Our middle-school camps include fun, hands-on experiences to get kids active, learning about nature, hanging out with friends, and out of the house!  We’ll take trips around town, and go camping at Proud Lake in Milford, MI.  Each week has a different theme described below.  A hot-dog dinner, bagel breakfast, and pizza lunch are provided.

*To ensure you get your favorite camps, sign up early.  There is a 3 session summer camp maximum for each camper.*

***All campers must complete the Emergency Release Form. Please send it 2 weeks ahead of time.***

Themed Weeks

June 25-29 Science of Flight
We share the world with amazing flying things, both in nature and human-made. This week we’ll witness a flight with one of our raptors, as well as get an introduction to how people use physics to fly different objects.

July 16-20 Nature Writing
Join us for a week of awesome adventures! We’ll learn to kayak on the Huron River, plan our camping trip to Proud Lake, and try our skills at a high-ropes course at Walled Lake.   After we complete our amazing experiences, we’ll take time to journal about our reactions and thoughts.  Campers will learn all of the different ways to express themselves through drawings, writing, poetry, even music!

August 13-17 Outbound Adventures
A city-wide adventure, a campout, s’mores, and a high-ropes course await your nature enthusiast!  Night Camouflage, Capture the Flag, and fireside fellowship are just a few of our favorite activities on this classic LSNC adventure.

Extended care hours are available for all weeks of camp.
