Leslie Science & Nature Center provides exemplary outdoor exploration experiences for children and teens, ages 4 through 15. Our well-loved summer camps and school break camps (offered during winter and spring breaks) help keep learning alive when school is not in session. Whatever the season, there are countless activities for campers to explore, whether it's hikes to Black Pond and beyond, scientific experiments, and, of course, visits with our live birds of prey, and the creatures in our Critter House.
Whether this is your first or your fiftieth time at the Center, a new adventure awaits!
The Center has 50 acres of forest, pond, prairie and fields for campers to explore. We're also home to non-releasable birds of prey and a variety of mammals, reptiles and amphibians that give campers an opportunity for up-close encounters with live animals. The Leslie Science & Nature Center is a private non-profit organization. If you haven't been to the site before, you can visit anytime to see the wonderful world that's in store for your kids!
LSNC Nature Day Camp Staff is a diverse team of educators. Our experienced, college-educated staff work together to design activities that are creative, fun and educational, while providing ample opportunities to build meaningful relationships with and amongst the campers. All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR.
