Amy Spooner

Amy Spooner discovered Leslie Science and Nature Center when she took her son to a Tiny Tots program, and her family has loved LSNC ever since. She has spent the majority of her career in higher education, in the fields of alumni relations, development, and communications, and now is the communications manager at Michigan Law. Amy is a native Michigander and University of Michigan graduate who defected to Chicago and Colorado before returning to her beautiful home state. When she’s not sharing stories of Michigan Law’s incredible alumni, students, and faculty, you can find Amy paddling her handmade wooden kayak, rowing with the Ann Arbor Rowing Club, plotting her family’s next camping adventure, blogging, or lying in a hammock with a book. She also is the VP of fundraising for Pleasant Ridge Elementary in Saline and a former co-chair of the Sierra Club’s Washtenaw Inner City Outings program.
