Alan Jackson

Professionally, Alan currently manages the Radiation Safety Office for Henry Ford Health System. He has been previously employed by both the University of Michigan and the University of Virginia where he provided radiation safety support to biomedical researchers, high energy accelerators, and research reactors. Alan is very involved with the Health Physics Society where he has been President of the Great Lakes Chapter, President of the Medical Health Physics section, and on the board of the American Academy of Health Physics. Alan and his family have been involved with Leslie Science and Nature Center in many ways over the past 20 years; his children have volunteered at the center, and his family has had a Leslie Project Grow garden for many years. Alan completed his MS in Radiological Health Physics from the University of Michigan.
